Migrating from Whatever to Unifi Routing

If you have a Unifi CloudKey you will not be able to switch a VLAN from 3rdPartyGateway to anything else. The other routing options will be greyed out in the Router drop-down

If you delete a VLAN you can re-create it with a DGW on a different device, BUT all of the switch ports in the deleted VLAN will revert to VLAN1. So record all the network ports in that VLAN first. You may be able to restore the switch config if you name the old and new VLAN the same.

Work Around:
before deleting the VLAN move all ports in that VLAN to an empty VLAN. then delete and re-create the VLAN, then move them all back.

Option 2:
You can purchase and migrate to a Cloud Gateway and it will show as available to choose in the router drop-down for the subnet. You should be able to restore the config from the Unifi Cloudkey to the Gateway as long as they have the same default VLAN. Record any working GW config first as the Cloudkey backup has no Gateway configuration saved.
