Cell Phone Photo Backup

You thought this would be easy cuz u got a Synology? But no, Synology dropped the Synology Photos and Moments apps.

TLDR: Immich takes a little time to get installed under docker but it’s free and seems to work well.

Failure to Launch:
PhotoSync; requires paid version to backup to SMB / NAS
AutoSync; requires paid version to backup to SMB / NAS
FolderSync; requires paid version to backup to SMB / NAS
Plex; no backup feature
SMB Sync; doesn’t seem to exist anymore
CloudSync; requires paid version to backup to SMB / NAS
Syncthing; no official version on Android but Syncthing-fork does exist…
