If you try to create a webhook in the Teams App directly you will likely get an error 404

sign into https://teams.microsoft.com from a browser and create the webhook there

Click the Teams icon in the leftmost column

Right of your main channel name click the 3 dots menu and choose add channel to create a sub-folder to keep your alerts organized

Click on the sub-channel folder and in the top right click to open the details pane

Click Manage Channel (Microsoft has moved this recently :/ )

Under the heading Connectors, click Edit

Wait for it…..

in the right column click Configure next to Incoming Webhook

You will be asked for a Webhook name just so you can keep things organized, name it according to what is making these alerts/messages

You can upload an image/icon if you so desire

When you hit create a long URL will be presented that you can copy + paste into whatever application wants to send alerts/messages to Teams
