RdWeb Gateway troubleshooting

Problem: Apps Published to the Domian Users group, their Icons show when logged in but only members of the Domain Admins can open successfully.

Make sure RemoteUsers or DomainUsers is a member of the correct groups. The RD Gateway server should already have these services installed. Start, Administrative Tools, Remote Desktop Services, Remote Desktop Gateway Manager. You should see your RDGateway server in the left column. Under Policies, Connection Auth, right click your policy in the right column and choose properties.

Click the requirements tab. If Domain Users or Remote Users doesn’t exist under User group membership use the Add Group button to add at least one of them.

do the same for Resource Auth Policies

If Domain Users or Remote Users doesn’t exist under User Groups use the Add Group button to add at least one of them.

The description for Resource Auth Policies says its for connecting to other workstations so i dont know why it is required. But my testing has verified that it IS required.
