Gmail Teams force delivery to alternate email address

Google hides this really well

I want the email that goes to info@tos to be delivered to temporaryRecipient@tos this works to either copy or redirect the email.

logon to the google account that has admin rights for the Team

Click the 9 dots menu in the top right, scroll down and click Admin

Click Apps, Google Workspace, Gmail

Scroll to the bottom and Click Advanced Settings

Scroll down to the Routing section, and hover over routing

If you don’t have any routing rules your only option will be Configure on the right

If you already have a rule you will have more options

When you click Configure, Edit or Add Another you will get a pop up window to configure a routing rule

Hit add and save and you’re done. You can only save this rule if you gave it a name, which is easy to miss at the top.

This rule could take up to 10 minute to apply

remember to test you changes. I could not get a read receipt or a delivery receipt to work from M$ to help me test this.
