GDPR dictates that when history is deleted it must be deleted everywhere but meta-data (data about data) isn&#8217;t mentioned specifically.  You will loose &#8220;Nostalgia&#8221; reminders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Export your data by clicking the Down arrow in the top right corner of Facebook and choosing settings.  Click &#8220;Your Facebook Information&#8221; in the left column.  Click &#8220;Download Your Information&#8221; and Click create file.  This will take a long time.  Click the &#8220;Available Copies&#8221; tab; your backup will list as Pending until it is ready to download.
