The other routing options will be greyed out in the Router drop-down<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"390\" height=\"559\" src=\"https:\/\/increasec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4190\" style=\"width:203px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/increasec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image.png 390w, https:\/\/increasec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-209x300.png 209w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 390px) 100vw, 390px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you delete a VLAN you can re-create it with a DGW on a different device, BUT all of the switch ports in the deleted VLAN will revert to VLAN1.  So record all the network ports in that VLAN first.  You may be able to restore the switch config if you name the old and new VLAN the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work Around:<br>before deleting the VLAN move all ports in that VLAN to an empty VLAN.  then delete and re-create the VLAN, then move them all back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Option 2:<br>You can purchase and migrate to a Cloud <strong>Gateway <\/strong>and it will show as available to choose in the router drop-down for the subnet.  You should be able to restore the config from the Unifi Cloudkey to the Gateway as long as they have the same default VLAN.
