It doesn&#8217;t support modern encryption protocols or OAuth.   Looks like M$ is getting around to kicking ev1 off.  We needed to upgrade a terminal server and still have a half dozen users complaining that their local software needs updating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Office 2016 upgrade; the path most businesses will take, it&#8217;s an easy inplace upgrade.<br>-Microsoft is just forcing me to upgrade to get more money!  You have used the software for 12 years, it&#8217;s paid for itself, suck it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/en-CA\/\">Thunderbird<\/a>;  its free, secure, it works<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.getmailbird.com\/\">MailBird<\/a>;  its free, it won a bunch of awards, you have nothing to lose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft said in Nov2021 that they were going to phase out Office 2010.
